AEW Collision Spoilers (7/25): Two Ladder Qualifiers, a Guitar Shot, and Ospreay Snaps

These are the full AEW Collision spoilers for tonight’s show. AEW taped it at The Pinnacle in Nashville immediately following Wednesday’s Dynamite, which means the whole thing was in the can before Dynamite had even finished airing (including the main event that left Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay shoving each other). It’s the last Collision before Redemption on Sunday, and it functions like one: two Ladder Match qualifiers, a pair of championship-adjacent tags, and one very loud statement from a man who isn’t booked on the pay-per-view in the match everyone assumed he’d be in.
The Full Results
1. Tommaso Ciampa def. Zachary Wentz. Ciampa followed the win by drawing on Wentz’s face and announcing that “the Psycho Killer is better than The Painmaker,” which is one way to build to Chris Jericho on Sunday.
2. The Young Bucks def. Wheeler Yuta & Daniel Garcia. PAC and Claudio Castagnoli tried to interfere and were run off by Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. Afterward the Bucks confronted Jon Moxley on commentary, which brought out Will Ospreay to attack. Given where Dynamite left those three, this is the segment to circle.
3. Persephone def. Angelica Risk. Crucifix bomb for the finish.
4. Backstage: Mike Bailey. Speedball says he intends to win the number-one contendership for the International Championship at Redemption, whoever walks out with it between Bandido and Kyle Fletcher.
5. Jeff Jarrett and The Demand join commentary. Never a good sign for whoever is in the ring later.
6. Matt Sydal, Scorpio Sky & Dante Martin vs. The Lethal Twist. The result wasn’t included in the spoiler reports, so treat this one as unknown until it airs.
7. Nick Wayne def. AR Fox. Wayne qualifies for the Ladder Match at Redemption.
8. The Conglomeration def. The Outrunners & Dalton Castle. The Demand and The Lethal Twist attacked all six men after the bell, and Jarrett cracked Ricochet with a guitar. So that’s why they were on commentary.
9. El Clon def. Lio Rush. The second Ladder Match qualifier. El Clon kept attacking Rush after the finish until Mike Bailey and Komander came out to stop it.
10. Thekla & Hikaru Shida def. Maya World & Willow Nightingale. Thekla pinned Maya World after a kendo stick shot. Both Redemption title challengers beat both champions, which is the oldest trick in the go-home playbook and it still works.

What to Watch For
The Ospreay run-in is the one that matters. Dynamite ended with Omega, Moxley, and Ospreay in open conflict after winning their own main event, and this taping has Ospreay charging the ring at the Bucks less than an hour later. Whatever AEW is doing with those three at Redemption, it’s accelerating.
Beyond that: the Ladder Match has its field (Nick Wayne and El Clon in, with El Clon already making enemies), Ciampa has decided the way to beat Jericho is to out-crazy him, and both women’s champions ate a loss on their way into Sunday. It’s a clean go-home show. Nothing on it changes a title picture, and everything on it makes Redemption feel closer. The Jarrett guitar shot is worth flagging too. The Demand and The Lethal Twist wiping out six men after the bell is the kind of thing AEW usually pays off on television a week or two later rather than on the pay-per-view itself, so file it for August.
